The heart of the kit consists of a 30 lb (15.8 kg lift) annular bladder made of 1000 denier Cordura®, optimized to perfectly trim steel tanks up to 18 liters. The buoyancy control device is completed by an inflator control unit with an oval corrugated hose and a chrome-plated marine brass control unit, a 5 cm overpressure/dump valve, and a TECH/DIR type harness with 5 stainless steel D-rings. The package includes a deployable SMB pocket to be attached to the backplate using the included flat-head screws.
