Plastic Cap for DIN 25x2

DIN G5/8 First Stage Cap | Tecline

The Tecline regulator first stage cap is an essential protective accessory for any diver using a DIN G5/8 system. Designed to provide a tight and robust seal, this component ensures that the high-pressure connection of the first stage remains pristine and protected during transport, storage, and equipment rinsing phases.

Key Features and Materials

• Made from Delrin® (POM): Tecline has chosen Delrin for its exceptional mechanical strength and dimensional stability. Unlike cheap plastic, Delrin does not deform, crack, and perfectly resists the corrosive action of saltwater and UV rays.
• DIN G5/8 Female Thread: Precisely designed to micrometric accuracy to screw perfectly onto the male thread of DIN first stages (both 200/232 Bar and 300 Bar), ensuring a smooth coupling without excessive friction.
• Ergonomic Design: The outer surface features knurling (non-slip grip) that facilitates manual screwing and unscrewing, an operation that is easy even with wet hands or neoprene gloves.

Critical Protection Functions

• Sintered Filter Protection: Prevents the entry of dust, sand, moisture, or insects into the first stage filter, avoiding potential malfunctions or contamination of the airflow.
• Sealing during Washing: Indispensable during post-dive rinsing. If screwed on correctly, it prevents accidental entry of fresh water (or saline residues) into the high-pressure chambers of the first stage.
• Thread Integrity: Protects the first stage threads from accidental impacts during transport in a bag or luggage, preserving the most important investment in your equipment.

Why choose the Tecline cap?

Unlike pressure-fit rubber caps, Tecline's Delrin screw cap offers real mechanical protection and a much more reliable seal. It is the standard chosen by technical divers to ensure that the regulator is always in optimal operating condition, reducing the need for extraordinary maintenance caused by external contaminants.
