Delrin plug for DIN M25X2

DIN Regulator Dust Cap - Delrin | Tecline

The Tecline dust cap for regulators with a DIN connection is a critical accessory for protecting the first stage when it is not connected to a cylinder. Made from high-quality technical materials, this cap ensures that the regulator system remains isolated from contaminants, preserving the integrity of internal components and diving safety.

Material Characteristics: The Delrin® Advantage

• Unlike common caps made of cheap plastic, the Tecline version is made of Delrin (POM), a high-performance polymer chosen for its superior mechanical properties:
• Mechanical Resistance: Extremely robust and resistant to accidental impacts during equipment transport.
• Chemical Inertia: Completely immune to corrosion caused by salt and atmospheric agents.
• Thread Precision: Delrin allows for precise machining, ensuring smooth screwing onto the first stage without the risk of "seizing" typical of connections between different metals.

Main Functions and Benefits

1. Filter Protection: Prevents water, dust, sand, or moisture from entering the sintered filter of the first stage, avoiding internal oxidation and malfunctions.
2. O-ring Safeguard: Provides a protected seat for the first stage's O-ring, keeping it clean and reducing the risk of pinching or dirt accumulation that would cause leaks during assembly.
3. Total Hygiene: Essential when rinsing the regulator in a tank after diving, preventing accidental entry of fresh water (or salt residues) into the high-pressure chambers.

Why is it a recommended purchase?

The regulator is the tool that allows you to breathe underwater; protecting it with a Tecline Delrin cap is the simplest and most economical way to extend maintenance intervals and ensure your first stage is always ready for use in perfect condition.
