A classic-shaped spool, made of durable Delrin. Delrin is increasingly used in the production of diving equipment due to its tensile strength, mechanical robustness, and minimal absorption capacity. Compared to standard aluminum reels, it has no corrosion problems. The spool's axle is made of stainless steel. The shape and structure have been designed for very easy line deployment both while swimming and using a DPV. The deployment speed can be adjusted by pressing a finger against the spool's flange. This type of brake is very effective and you'll never lose it :-D The reel can be used with both hands, which is very useful during ice diving when hands get cold. The reel can hold up to 120m of 2mm line. Our line is braided with PES fibers with an aramid core. Aramid core fibers are strong and do not stretch.
