Delrin spool 33 mt

The DTD 33-meter Spool is a high-capacity technical reel, designed to meet the rigorous standards of technical and DIR diving. Engineered to offer superior line length while maintaining a compact profile, it is the ideal tool for managing ascents from deep depths or for extended navigation.

Key Features and Materials:

• Delrin Monoblock: The spool is made from a single piece of highly resistant Delrin. Machining from solid eliminates any joint or glue point, ensuring exceptional tolerance to impacts, falls, and the severe stresses typical of cave or wreck diving.
• Geometry and Grip: It maintains the standard 76 mm diameter but with an increased width of 50 mm to accommodate the greater amount of line. This increased width offers an excellent gripping surface, facilitating control of the reel and rewinding the line even when wearing dry gloves or thick neoprene gloves.

Configuration and Equipment:

Line Specifications: It comes complete with approximately 33 meters of 2 mm thick PA (polyamide) line. This technical yarn is designed to ensure very high resistance to tension and wear from abrasion, minimizing the risk of tangles or accidental knots.

Double Ender Clip: The spool comes with a short double-ended clip made of stainless steel, ideal for resisting marine corrosion and designed to ensure quick and precise attachments and detachments even in conditions of reduced visibility.

Ideal Use:

This 33-meter spool is an extremely versatile and high-capacity accessory, perfect for various safety applications:

• Decompression Spool: Ideal for deploying a DSMB (buoy) from significant depths, allowing signaling to the surface much earlier than the final decompression stops.
• Safety and Navigation Spool: Excellent for making jump lines in cave diving or for tracing a safe path line during wreck penetration.

Target Users:
A fundamental component in the equipment of technical divers, cave divers, and trimix divers who seek a durable, extremely high-capacity product that fully complies with the highest safety standards in the industry.
