This kit has been assembled to offer a completely independent drysuit inflation system. Using a dedicated system allows the drysuit to be filled with Argon (which has much lower thermal conductivity than air) or simply with dry air, avoiding wasting bottom gas and ensuring a constantly available buoyancy reserve.
Set Components:
0.85 L Aluminum Cylinder (Military Line)
-
Finish: High-resistance matte black anti-reflective.
- Dimensions: Extremely compact (Diameter 81 mm, Length ~283 mm).
-
Advantage: Aluminum ensures lightness and total corrosion resistance, essential for a small cylinder that often remains mounted on equipment for long periods.
Scubatec F6 "Argon" First Stage
-
Mechanism: Simple and ultra-reliable piston.
-
Safety: Integrates a calibrated overpressure valve (OPV), essential for protecting the drysuit and hose in case of delivery anomalies.
-
Design: Miniaturized dimensions to reduce lateral bulk behind the diver's shoulder.
LP Hose for Drysuit (61 cm)
-
Length: Standard technical measurement of 61 cm (24"), ideal for clean routing that starts from the backplate and reaches the inflation valve on the chest without creating dangerous loops.
-
Compatibility: Standard quick connector compatible with Apeks and Si-Tech valves.
Tecline Fastening System (Argon Cylinder Straps)
-
Stability: Pair of straps with buckles and non-slip grip designed to secure the cylinder directly to the side of the backplate.
-
Configuration: Allows vertical mounting, maintaining the diver's hydrodynamic profile and leaving access to the twin-set valves free.
Why buy this set?
-
Thermal Comfort: Independence from bottom gas allows you to stay warm longer, a critical factor for safety in decompression dives.
-
Optimized Gas Management: Save precious Trimix from the twin-set, using it only for breathing and not for drysuit volume.
-
Component Quality: The mix of Scubatec metal reliability and Tecline Military Line finish robustness ensures a long-lasting investment.
-
Ready to Use: The set includes everything needed for immediate installation on your backplate.
