The Tecline 3mm aluminum backplate is the ideal choice for divers seeking the advantages of a modular technical system (wing and harness) without the bulk and weight of steel. Perfect for warm water diving, use with wetsuits, and especially as a travel solution to comfortably stay within airline baggage weight limits.
Key Features and Benefits:
-
Ultra-Lightweight (Only 0.85 kg): Weighing less than a kilogram, it drastically reduces the overall equipment weight out of the water, making travel and air journeys extremely easy.
-
Aerospace-Grade Aluminum: Made from high-quality 3mm aluminum, it offers exceptional structural rigidity and excellent resistance to deformation, easily supporting both single and lightweight twin tanks.
-
Protective and Colored Anodization: The anodization treatment not only protects the plate from saltwater corrosion but also allows for unique customization of your gear thanks to a wide range of vibrant and durable colors.
-
Rounded Anti-Chafing Edges: Every profile and slot is laser-cut and carefully deburred to preserve the integrity of the webbing harness and wetsuit.
-
Universal Compatibility: Features the standard 11-inch (28 cm) bolt spacing, making it compatible with most wings and single tank adapters (STAs) on the market.
