The DTD STRIPE Wing is a technical circular (donut/ring) cell wing, specifically designed for single-tank diving. This model evolves from the proven double-layer design of the CUB model, inheriting its robustness and introducing an integrated solution that drastically simplifies configuration for recreational or technical divers who travel.
Buoyancy Specifications and Available Versions:
-
Geometry: Circular / Annular (Donut).
-
Construction: High-resistance double-layer (derived from the CUB model).
Selectable Options:
-
RING 14 Version: Recommended for optimal use with 12-liter tanks.
-
RING 17 Version: Recommended for optimal use with 15-liter tanks.
Key Features and Benefits:
Direct Attachment Without Adapter (STA): 2 specially designed rubber pins are integrated into the central part of the wing. This technical solution allows the single tank to be securely fastened and stabilized to the backplate WITHOUT the need for an external single-tank adapter. This reduces the weight, mechanical components, and overall bulk of the system, making it ideal as a travel configuration.
Annular Geometry: The continuous donut shape ensures smooth, immediate, and balanced gas circulation between the two sides of the wing. This design prevents trapped air pockets and supports the diver in maintaining a perfectly stable horizontal trim in the water.
Included in the Package:
- 1x 51 cm LP inflator hose.
- 1x Set of screws for attachment and compensation.
Target Use:
The DTD STRIPE Wing is an excellent choice for advanced recreational and technical divers who demand a robust, essential, and clean back-mounted single-tank wing for 12 or 15-liter cylinders. It is the ideal product for those who want to eliminate superfluous components (such as the STA adapter) to optimize tank stability and lighten their equipment while traveling.
