This premium package combines the solid R5 TEC diaphragm first stage – characterized by an 813 g fixed marine bronze body and optimized port arrangement – with the elite performance of the latest generation TEC2 second stages. Designed to significantly exceed the strictest European standards for cold water, the system utilizes a sealed dry chamber and an additional cold kit that insulates the internal mechanisms. Together with the direct flow fluid dynamic technology of the second stages, the set minimizes breathing effort in any condition, ensuring a smooth and ultra-comfortable diving experience.

Technical Features:

• R5 TEC First Stage (Balanced Diaphragm, Fixed Body and Arctic Protection): Constructed from solid marine bronze with a structural weight of 813 g, the R5 TEC implements a balanced fixed body diaphragm mechanism. The allocation of HP and LP outlets is geometrically optimized to ensure clean and linear hose routing. The sealed dry chamber (Dry Chamber) combined with an additional cold water kit (Cold Kit) completely isolates the internal moving components from the external environment, acting as a total anti-freeze and anti-sediment barrier. Supports an operating pressure of up to 300 bar.
• Double TEC2 Second Stage (DFS Technology and Ultra-Comfort): The pneumatically balanced TEC2 second stages implement the innovative Direct Flow System (DFS). This special architecture optimizes the internal fluid dynamics of the gas, drastically reducing the overall work of breathing (WOB) at any depth and offering incredibly soft and natural breathing.
• Mechanical Shielding and Protection: The structural polymer casing of the second stage is frontally shielded by a solid stainless steel ring to resist strong stresses and accidental impacts. The internal metal parts benefit from a protective non-stick Teflon coating to maximize component longevity.
• Flow Control and Adjustments: Both second stages feature a lever for manual adjustment of the Venturi effect, essential for preventing accidental free-flow of the regulator when not in use (such as on the neck octopus). They also include an external micrometric knob for calibrating the initial breathing effort.
• High Visibility Octopus and Hose Layout: For perfect buddy safety, the emergency second stage (TEC2 OCTO) is instantly identifiable thanks to its yellow front cover and dedicated 0.90 m hose of the same color. The main regulator is equipped with a classic black 0.70 m hose.
• SPG 52 mm Technical Pressure Gauge: The kit includes a professional and compact analog pressure gauge, with a robust 52 mm diameter metal case and a highly legible dial. It is supplied coupled with an 0.80 m heavy black rubber high-pressure (HP) hose.
