The Tecline R5 TEC2 DIR Style Regulator Set, available at DIR-STORE, represents one of the most advanced combinations for twinset management. This premium package combines the structural compactness and solidity of the fixed-body R5 monolithic first stages with the advanced fluid dynamics of the latest generation TEC2 second stages. Thanks to its design, which lacks rotating turrets and features inclined radial outlets, the hose routing faithfully follows the DIR (Doing It Right) philosophy, running parallel to the cylinders to eliminate bulk behind the neck and entanglement risks. Certified well beyond the requirements of the stringent European standard EN250A, it guarantees superior performance and thermal protection in icy waters or deep caves.

Technical Features:

• Double R5 TEC First Stage (Thermal Compactness and Fixed Body): Constructed from robust chrome-plated marine brass with an ultra-optimized volumetric profile, the R5 first stages utilize a balanced diaphragm mechanism with high pressure stability. The system implements efficient thermal insulation against freezing (antifreeze). The fixed monolithic architecture eliminates potential mechanical wear points and guides the hoses linearly along the BCD's profile. Each first stage offers 4 LP and 2 HP ports.
• Double TEC2 Second Stage (DFS Technology and Ultra-Comfort): The pneumatically balanced second stages implement the innovative DFS (Direct Flow System) direct flow system. This architecture optimizes the internal fluid dynamics of the gas, drastically reducing the total inspiratory work (WOB) at any depth, regardless of the residual pressure in the cylinders.
• Anti-Freeze and Mechanical Shielding: Designed to withstand significant temperature fluctuations and chemical-mechanical stresses, the second stages feature internal metal components with a protective non-stick Teflon coating and an integrated heat exchanger at the connection point. The protective structural polymer casing is shielded at the front by a solid stainless steel ring.
• Dual Adjustment and Safety: Both second stages integrate a lever for Venturi management (essential for inhibiting accidental continuous flows on the backup second stage positioned at the neck) and a micrometric knob for manually calibrating the inspiratory effort.
• Custom DIR Style Hose Configuration: The set includes high-quality LP hoses meticulously optimized for their respective technical roles: a long hose of 1.93 m, 2.00 m, or 2.10 m for the primary second stage (the donor) and a short hose of 0.61 m for the neck backup.
