The Tecline R5 TEC1 + SPG DIR Set Regulator Kit, available at DIR-STORE, is the ideal all-in-one technical package for optimal and rational twinset management. This kit combines two balanced diaphragm R5 first stages – renowned for their extraordinary compactness and exceptional freeze resistance – with the proven TEC1 second stages and a pressure gauge (SPG) system with a metal manometer. Designed in full compliance with the DIR (Doing It Right) philosophy, it utilizes a monolithic fixed-body architecture with angled ports that route hoses parallel to the cylinders, reducing bulk behind the neck and eliminating moving parts.

Technical Features:

Dual R5 TEC First Stage (Thermal Compactness and Fixed Body): Constructed from robust chrome-plated marine brass with a design aimed at optimizing volumetric space, the R5 first stages use balanced diaphragm mechanics with high pressure stability. The system is equipped with efficient thermal insulation against freezing (antifreeze). The fixed monolithic architecture (without a swivel turret) eliminates potential extra mechanical wear points and guides hoses linearly along the wing profile. Each first stage offers 4 LP and 2 HP ports.

Dual TEC1 Second Stage (Smooth and Natural Air Delivery): The two pneumatically balanced second stages minimize total breathing work (WOB), providing a smooth and constant airflow at any depth, even under high demand or in emergency situations. The cover is shielded by a solid perimeter protective anti-shock aluminum ring.

Technical SPG 52 mm Metal Pressure Gauge: The set includes a professional diving pressure gauge with a chrome-plated brass casing, tempered glass, and a highly legible luminescent dial. It is paired with a black high-pressure (HP) hose with customizable length (0.57 m, 0.60 m, or 0.65 m).

Flow Control and Safety: Both second stages integrate a lever for manual adjustment of the Venturi effect (essential to prevent accidental free-flow of the backup second stage positioned at the neck) and a micrometric knob for calibrating inhalation effort. A metal heat exchanger on the hose connection prevents ice crystal formation.

Custom DIR Style Hose Geometry: The included hoses faithfully follow the technical standard: a long hose of 1.93 m, 2.00 m, or 2.10 m for the primary second stage (the donor) and a short hose of 0.61 m for the neck-mounted backup.
