The Tecline R5 TEC1 OCTO + SPG Regulator Set, available at DIR-STORE, is an advanced respiratory system specifically engineered for divers who demand maximum reliability and extraordinary breathing parameters in the most severe conditions. The core of the kit is the R5 TEC first stage, a fixed-body balanced diaphragm regulator that stands out for its solid weight (813 g) in marine bronze and for a geometrically designed allocation of HP and LP outlets. Equipped with a sealed dry chamber and a specific cold water kit, it works in perfect symbiosis with the compensated TEC1 second stages to offer an airflow that far exceeds the rigorous requirements of the EN250A standard.

Technical Features:

• R5 TEC First Stage (Balanced Diaphragm, Fixed Body and Arctic Protection): Made of robust marine bronze with a high-resistance black protective finish, the R5 TEC weighs 813 g, attesting to its structural solidity. It uses a fixed-body balanced diaphragm mechanism with optimized port positioning to ensure clean and linear hose routing. The sealed dry chamber (Dry Chamber), combined with an additional cold water kit (Cold Kit), completely isolates the internal mechanisms, preventing accidental freezing (free-flow) and avoiding the entry of sediments or contaminants. It supports an operating pressure of up to 300 bar.
• Dual TEC1 Second Stage (Smooth and Balanced Breathing): The TEC1 second stages are pneumatically balanced to reduce the overall inspiratory work of breathing (WOB). They ensure exceptionally smooth, natural and constant delivery at any depth, readily accommodating even the most intense air demands.
• Flow Control and Adjustments: Both second stages feature a side lever for manual management of the Venturi effect, essential for preventing continuous free-flows when the regulator is not in the mouth (such as during water entry or on the backup second stage). They also integrate an external micrometric knob to calibrate the initial breathing effort.
• High Visibility Octopus and Hose Layout: For perfect buddy safety, the emergency second stage (TEC1 OCTO) is instantly identifiable thanks to its yellow front cover and dedicated 0.90 m hose of the same color. The main regulator is equipped with a standard 0.70 m black recreational hose.
• 52 mm SPG Technical Pressure Gauge: The kit includes a professional and compact analog pressure gauge, with a robust 52 mm diameter metal case and a highly legible dial. It is supplied coupled with an 0.80 m heavy black rubber high-pressure (HP) hose.
