The Tecline R5 TEC1 DIR Style Regulator Set, available at DIR-STORE, is a cutting-edge breathing system designed specifically to meet the demands of technical divers and cave divers who follow the DIR (Doing It Right) philosophy. This package combines two balanced diaphragm R5 first stages – renowned for their extraordinary compactness, structural lightness, and freeze resistance – with the proven TEC1 second stages. Thanks to the monolithic fixed body design with pre-oriented radial ports, the hose routing on the twinset is perfectly clean, hydrodynamic, and free of pivot points or tension on the diver's neck.

Technical Features:

• Dual R5 TEC First Stage (Thermal Compactness and Fixed Body): Constructed from robust chromed marine brass with an extremely space-optimized design, the R5 first stages utilize a balanced diaphragm mechanism with high pressure stability. The system features efficient thermal insulation against freezing (antifreeze). The fixed architecture without a rotating turret reduces moving parts and guides the hoses naturally and parallel to the cylinders, minimizing bulk behind the head. Each first stage offers 4 LP and 2 HP ports.
• Dual TEC1 Second Stage (Natural Breathing and High-Flow): The two pneumatically balanced second stages minimize total work of breathing (WOB), offering a smooth and constant airflow at any depth, even under heavy exertion or in emergency situations. The cover is shielded by a solid perimeter protective anti-shock aluminum ring.
• Flow Control and Safety: Both second stages integrate a lever for Venturi effect adjustment (essential to prevent accidental free-flow of the backup second stage positioned at the neck) and a micrometric knob to calibrate the inhalation effort. A metallic heat exchanger on the hose connection reduces the risk of ice crystal formation.
• Custom DIR Style Hose Geometry: The set includes high-quality black LP hoses precisely sized for their respective technical roles: a 1.93 m, 2.00 m, or 2.10 m long hose for the primary regulator (donor) and a 0.61 m short hose for the neck backup.
