This component is the "heart" of the high-pressure sealing mechanism of the R4 TEC Tecline first stage. It is a precision mechanical assembly, visible in the image, that plays a critical role in regulating gas flow.

Component Detail:

The Stem: The long, thin rod shown in the image is the stem. It is made of high-precision marine-grade stainless steel and carefully chamfered to ensure smooth movement within the first stage body. The stem is pushed by the piston (or diaphragm) mechanism in response to changes in ambient and cylinder pressure.
