This original pin is a fundamental component of the Cold Kit integrated into the Tecline R4 TEC fixed body first stage (4 LP ports and 2 HP ports configuration). Made of high-density transparent technopolymer, it acts as an external mechanical connection for the dry chamber system.
Mechanical Details and Anti-Freeze Function:

Isolated Hydrostatic Transmission: The pin is positioned in the main spring chamber. Its flat head receives water pressure through the external silicone diaphragm and faithfully transmits it to the internal diaphragm of the first stage.

Total Ice Protection: It allows the first stage to function in a balanced way while keeping the main spring and internal components completely isolated from the surrounding water. This design eliminates the risk of ice blocking the spring, ensuring compliance and safety with EN250A certification for cold water (>4°C).
