LP 280 Rotary Suction Filter System, Version 2

Intake Filter for Rotary Silent LP 280 Version 2 - Coltri Compressors

The original Coltri Compressors intake filter is a specific replacement component designed for the Rotary Silent LP 280 screw compressor in its Version 2. As the primary protection stage of the system, it is crucial for ensuring that the air drawn in by the screw unit is free of dust, micro-particles, and environmental contaminants.

Product Features

• Specific Compatibility: Developed exclusively for the LP 280 model, Version 2. Mechanical precision ensures an airtight seal on the housing, preventing infiltration of unfiltered air.
• Rotor Protection: Effectively retains debris that could damage the screw rotor profiles, which are high-precision components whose integrity is essential for compressor performance.
• Flow Optimization: The filter media structure is designed to offer minimal air resistance, ensuring that the flow rate (L/min) remains constant and the motor's energy consumption is optimized.
• Industrial Standard: Built to withstand prolonged duty cycles in industrial environments or intensive refilling centers.

Why is Version 2 maintenance crucial?

In Rotary Silent systems, proper intake air filtration has a direct impact on:

1. Oil service life: An inefficient filter accelerates lubricant degradation, as dust ends up contaminating the internal circuit.
2. Temperature stability: A clogged filter causes greater strain and an increase in the operating temperature of the screw unit.
3. Overall reliability: Prevents unscheduled downtime by protecting the most critical moving parts.

Important note: Before purchasing, verify that your compressor is indeed a Version 2 to ensure perfect compatibility of the spare part. Consult the technical manual or the machine's data plate.
