The P-Weight (Plates Weight) is the definitive hydrodynamic and structural weighting system for technical and advanced recreational diving. Designed according to the DIR philosophy, this contoured lead weight is engineered to optimize the diver's trim (horizontal body position), by placing weights in the most central area, closest to the body's center of gravity.

Thanks to its tapered profile, the P-Weight sits stably within the rear recess (the central fold) of a steel or aluminum backplate, or directly inserted between the twinset and the backplate itself, freeing the waist from bulky and hazardous weight belts.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

Anatomic, Recessed Design: The lead plate features compact dimensions of 24 x 7 cm with a maximum thickness of 2 cm. This geometric shape allows it to completely disappear into the backplate's groove, eliminating bulk.

Variable Slot Spacing (27 - 28 cm): The reinforced steel fastening slots are designed with variable spacing from 27 cm to 28 cm. This feature ensures universal compatibility with almost all backplates and twinset band bolts on the market.

Rigid and Secure Fastening: Once tightened with the harness or twinset bolts, the lead becomes a single unit with the equipment, eliminating oscillations, trim shifts, and noise during dives.

Improved Trim: By positioning the ballast along the spine, it spontaneously promotes a perfect horizontal hydrodynamic position ("flat"), reducing finning effort and improving gas consumption.

• Twinset Configurations: Its preferred placement is inserted in the internal groove between the backplate and the twinset cylinders.
