Tecline SPG 63 mm Nickel: Maximum Visibility and Professional Precision
While the technical standard usually stands at 52 mm, the 63 mm Tecline pressure gauge was created to offer a larger reading surface. It is the ideal tool for divers operating in very murky waters, for those making deep dives where narcosis can make reading small numbers difficult, or simply for those who prefer a large and immediate dial.
Key Features:
- Extra-Large Dial (63 mm): The generous diameter allows for greater spacing between the segments of the graduated scale. This results in a much faster and more precise reading of the residual pressure, reducing check times during the dive.
- High-Quality Nickel Finish: The brass casing is coated with a brushed nickel layer. This finish, in addition to providing a technical and understated look, is extremely resistant to salt corrosion and scratches, reflecting less light than polished chrome plating.
- Tempered Safety Glass: The lens is made of thick tempered glass. Unlike plastic lenses, it does not fog up, resists scratches, and perfectly withstands pressure and temperature variations without distorting the view.
- Graduated Scale 0-300 Bar: * Features clear numbering with the reserve zone (0-50 bar) highlighted in red.
- Certified for an operating pressure of up to 230 bar, covering the standard for most cylinders on the market.
- Bourdon Tube Mechanism: The internal heart of the instrument is an ultra-tested analog mechanism that guarantees long-term reliability and constant calibration.
Why choose the 63 mm version?
- Diving in poor visibility: In lakes or coastal waters with a lot of suspension, a larger dial is much easier to locate with a torch.
- Use with heavy gloves: The larger size makes the pressure gauge easier to grip and orient if mounted on a standard hose.
- Main cylinder configurations: Often used as a primary pressure gauge on twinsets to always keep the bottom gas under control with maximum clarity.
Note for assembly: Being the "Head Only" version, installation on an HP (High Pressure) hose requires the use of a swivel (connection pin) with relevant O-rings.
