Descrizione
The Scubatec F6 Pressure Reducer Service Kit, distributed by DIR STORE, is the set of original and certified spare parts necessary for the technical maintenance of this specific device.
Unlike traditional diving regulators (such as the F10-F60 series), the F6 model is a pressure reducer designed for specific purposes, often mounted on Argon cylinders used for dry suit inflation.
Kit Composition
The kit includes exclusively original Scubatec components, selected to guarantee the watertightness and mechanical precision of the reducer:
High Pressure Seat (HP Seat / Pellet): The main sealing component made of technical polymer. It is the critical element that stops the high-pressure gas flow once the desired operating pressure is reached.
Reduction Diaphragm: Made of reinforced elastomer or specific plastic material (depending on the version of the gas used), it is responsible for regulating the outlet pressure.
Sintered Filter: A filter element placed at the reducer inlet to protect internal mechanisms from particulate matter, metal burrs, or impurities present in the cylinder or line.
Complete O-Ring Set:
- O-ring for the regulating chamber seal.
- O-ring for inlet and outlet fittings.
- O-ring for the DIN connection interface
Teflon (PTFE) Gaskets / Thrust Washers: Anti-friction components that ensure the smooth movement of the spring and thrust piston, preventing premature wear of metallic components.
Maintenance and Safety Notes
Qualified Intervention: Servicing a pressure reducer like the F6 requires in-depth knowledge of pneumatic systems. It must be carried out exclusively by trained technical personnel using certified measuring instruments (control pressure gauges) and appropriate cleaning procedures (ultrasonic tanks).
Cleaning and Lubrication: All metal components must be decalcified and degreased before assembly. If necessary, use only oxygen-compatible grease (e.g., Christo-Lube) in minimal quantities.
Post-Service Check: After installing the kit, it is mandatory to test the reducer to verify the absence of leaks and the correct calibration of the outlet pressure under load.
The use of this original spare parts kit is the only accepted procedure to ensure that the Scubatec F6 reducer maintains its precision and safety characteristics over time.
