Description
The Scubatec F22 first stage service kit, distributed by DIR STORE, is a package of original and certified spare parts necessary for the periodic maintenance of this specific model.
The F22 first stage is a balanced piston regulator, known for its swivel turret and high performance in cold water. The kit is designed to restore factory tolerances and ensure perfect watertight and pneumatic sealing of the system.
Components included in the Kit
The kit contains all the "soft" parts and components subject to mechanical deformation which, according to the Scubatec technical manual, must be replaced during the annual service (or every 100 dives):
High-Pressure Seat (HP Seat / Pellet): The critical polymer component that seals the high-pressure air flow. It is the element that determines the stability of the intermediate pressure.
Main Diaphragm: Made of special high-resistance elastomer, responsible for transmitting ambient pressure to the internal mechanism.
Sintered Filter: Cup-shaped filter element (usually bronze or nickel-plated) located at the inlet of the DIN connection to block impurities and particulate matter.
Complete Set of O-Rings:
- Swivel turret O-rings (essential for sealing rotational movement).
- Push rod O-ring (diaphragm transmission).
- O-rings for HP and LP port plugs.
- DIN connection sealing O-ring (cylinder interface).
Teflon (PTFE) Gaskets: Anti-extrusion or sliding rings to reduce friction between moving metal parts.
Safety Clip (C-clip): Any metallic snap rings required for locking the turret or other internal components.
Technical Specifications and Compatibility
- Specific model: Designed exclusively for the Scubatec F22 first stage.
- Materials: Compatible with the use of oxygen and Nitrox mixtures (after proper cleaning of the regulator body in an ultrasonic bath).
- Production standard: Original spare parts that ensure the maintenance of the warranty and CE certification of the equipment.
Notes for the Technician
Professional Use: Servicing a diaphragm first stage with a swivel turret like the F22 requires specific equipment (spanner wrenches, intermediate pressure gauges, and ultrasonic baths). It is recommended that the kit installation be performed by an authorized Scubatec technician.
Lubrication: Use only a thin film of compatible silicone grease (Christo-Lube type) only where indicated by the technical manual, avoiding excess which could attract debris.
This kit is essential to prevent "free flow" phenomena or abnormal variations in intermediate pressure, ensuring diver safety in all environmental conditions.
