Central Manifold Interceptor

The central isolation manifold with double safety O-ring, configurable in three different lengths to fit any twinset diameter.

The Scubatec Central Manifold, available on DIR-STORE, is the fundamental component for the assembly and safety of a technical twinset. Positioned in the center of the manifold, this valve connects the two cylinders and acts as a true isolation valve: in the event of a catastrophic failure of one of the first stages or hoses, it allows for instant isolation of the two tanks behind the diver's head, saving half of the remaining gas supply.

Key Strengths:

• Maximum Safety with Double O-Ring: The central barrel is designed with a double radial Viton O-ring sealing system. This technology ensures exceptional tolerance to accidental twisting and flexing of the twinset (caused by impacts or tight passages in caves and wrecks), eliminating the risk of gas leaks.
• Heavy-Duty Machined Construction: Entirely made of heavy marine brass with a high-thickness polished chrome finish. It is structured to withstand the severe mechanical stresses of technical exploration dives.
• Viton Equipped (Oxygen Clean): Equipped as standard with Viton O-rings and special lubricants with high chemical stability. It is 100% safe and certified for use with Air, Nitrox, and Trimix mixtures.
• Perfect Maneuverability: The soft, shock-resistant rubber handwheel ensures a firm and immediate grip, allowing for smooth isolation (shut-down) maneuvers even when wearing thick dry gloves.
  

Available Sizes and Spacing (Selectable when ordering):

The manifold can be purchased in three different lengths to correctly couple the cylinders based on their diameter:

• 140 mm Spacing: Optimized for small diameter cylinders, typical of compact 5-liter and 7-liter twinsets.
• 171 mm Spacing: The universal standard size, used for the vast majority of 10-liter, 12-liter (both long and short), and 15-liter twinsets.
• 204 mm Spacing: Extra-wide version specific for large diameter cylinders, ideal for heavy 16-liter, 18-liter, or 20-liter twinsets.
