The original DTD Model J01 Raw Power Inflator, available at DIR-STORE, represents the pinnacle of engineering evolution in trim control for technical and professional diving. Equipped with the innovative patented Edge system, this device redefines standards of precision, ergonomics, and reliability, offering divers millimeter-precise buoyancy control and unprecedented smooth operation.
Key Features and Benefits:
-
"Raw Power" Gradual Piston System: The mechanical heart of the J01 is an advanced, highly sensitive, and progressive piston system. Unlike standard (on/off) inflators, it allows for extremely gradual and modulable air input, ensuring total trim and buoyancy control even at deep depths or during millimeter-accurate decompressions.
-
Patented Edge Technology (Low-Profile Design): The patented Edge design has allowed for the miniaturization of the internal mechanism, drastically reducing the overall size of the inflator body. The result is an ultra-compact, hydrodynamic device perfectly aligned with the DIR philosophy of reducing snag points.
-
Advanced Ergonomics with XL Buttons: Despite its reduced body, the Edge geometry allows for oversized inflation and deflation buttons. The anatomical shape and extraordinary softness of the spring increase ease of operation, making gas management immediate and intuitive even when wearing dry gloves or thick mitts.
-
Anti-Limescale Mechanism and Quick Maintenance: The internal metallic components feature improved hydrodynamic profiles that drastically reduce the accumulation of limescale, salt, and marine fouling. Furthermore, the exclusive Edge locking system simplifies and speeds up disassembly, overhaul, and routine maintenance operations.
