S80 DTD rigging stage

S80 (11.1 L) DTD Stage Rigging

The DTD S80 stage rigging is a professional pre-assembled kit designed for rigging the 11.1-liter (S80) aluminum cylinder. Given the mass and dimensions of the S80, this rigging is designed to offer maximum structural support, ensuring the cylinder remains perfectly parallel to the diver's body without unwanted slipping or rotation.

Made according to the DIR philosophy, the kit replaces any plastic elements with extremely high-resistance materials: a robust marine rope and oversized bolt snaps. This guarantees extreme durability and total operational safety even in the most demanding technical dives, such as those in caves or on deep wrecks.

Technical specifications:

• Compatibility: S80 aluminum cylinders (11.1 liters / 184 mm diameter)
• Bolt snaps: 2 round-base bolt snaps (AISI 316 Stainless Steel) 120 mm
• Elastic band: 2 high-resistance rubber bands with easy-grip loop
• Mounting strap: Adjustable stainless steel strap with protective fabric cover
• Rope: High-tenacity nylon/polyester marine rope (4 mm)
• Protection: Reinforced tubular sleeve on the rope to increase carrying comfort and thread protection
• Manufacturer: DTD (Dare To Dive)

Key features:

• Optimized for Dry Gloves: The use of 120 mm bolt snaps allows for perfect operation even with poor tactile sensitivity or in cold conditions.
• Buoyancy Control: The rope length is pre-configured to position the S80 exactly under the armpit and along the side, balancing the positive buoyancy of the cylinder when partially discharged.
• Total Resistance: Marine-grade stainless steel components to resist galvanic corrosion and mechanical wear.
• Hose Management: The included elastic bands allow the regulator hose to be stowed neatly, preventing it from snagging or floating during navigation.
