S40 DTD stage harness

S40 DTD Stage Rigging Kit

The S40 DTD stage rigging kit is a complete and professional kit, specifically designed for setting up 5.7-liter (S40) aluminum cylinders. This system ensures that the cylinder remains close to the diver's body, providing a hydrodynamic profile and safe management of decompression or bailout gases.

The kit strictly follows DIR standards, replacing fragile plastic ties with a robust structure based on high-strength nautical rope. The distinctive feature of this version is the adoption of oversized snap hooks, which greatly facilitate attachment and detachment from the D-rings of the main harness.

Technical specifications:

• Compatibility: S40 aluminum cylinders (5.7 liters)
• Snap hooks: 2 round-base bolt snaps in AISI 316 Stainless Steel, 120 mm
• Elastic band: 2 robust rubber bands with pull tabs
• Mounting strap: Adjustable stainless steel with protective cover
• Rope: High-tenacity nylon nautical rope (4 mm)
• Protection: Tubular sleeve to protect the rope and improve comfort during transport
• Manufacturer: DTD (Dare To Dive)

Main features:

• Ease of maneuver: The 120 mm snap hooks are ideal for use with dry gloves or in cold water, offering superior leverage and grip surface.
• Buoyancy and Trim: The design allows for precise adjustment of the cylinder's position along the side, minimizing drag.
• Marine Grade Materials: Every metal component is made of AISI 316 stainless steel to ensure maximum longevity even with continuous use in saltwater.
• Clean Configuration: Eliminates snag points and allows for organized management of the regulator hose thanks to dedicated elastic bands.

Note: The 120 mm snap hooks are the preferred choice for technical divers operating in demanding conditions, where speed and safety in attaching the stage are paramount.
