High-resistance flat gasket for a perfect watertight seal of the BCD's top connection.
The Tecline Elbow Silicone Gasket, available at DIR-STORE, is the essential sealing element to ensure the impermeability of the inflation system of a technical wing or BCD. Positioned between the corrugated hose elbow and the wing fabric, this specific gasket prevents any micro-leaks of air or water seepage, guaranteeing maximum safety in buoyancy control.
Key Features and Benefits:
-
Superior Technical Grade Silicone: Compared to traditional black rubber or standard elastomer gaskets, the silicone used by Tecline offers significantly superior resistance to aging. It does not dry out, crack, or suffer from prolonged exposure to UV rays and ozone.
-
Excellent Elasticity and Elastic Memory: The silicone compound ensures a more effective and constant watertight seal over time. Thanks to its structural softness, it perfectly adapts to microscopic imperfections in plastic and fabric surfaces, sealing the critical point without requiring excessive tightening of the nut.
-
Impervious to Saltwater and Chlorine: It maintains its chemical-physical properties unaltered in both highly saline marine waters and pool training contexts (chlorine), drastically reducing the need for frequent replacements.
