The Scubatec hose with double female (F/F) connection is a specialized technical component made of high-quality thermorubber. Unlike common LP hoses, it features female fittings on both ends, a specific configuration designed to solve particular routing needs or for interconnecting components in complex systems.
Technical Specifications
Thermorubber Material: The thermoplastic polymer compound ensures superior flexibility compared to traditional rubber, UV resistance, and excellent elastic response even in cold water.
Fitting Configuration: Both ends are equipped with 9/16" UNF female connections, the standard used for connecting to second stages of regulators.
Specific Use: It is mainly used for:
- Gas distribution systems (external manifolds).
- Connection between male-male (M/M) fittings or specific adapters.
- Custom configurations on rebreathers or low-pressure filling/transfer stations.
Scubatec Reliability: The fittings are made of high-precision chrome-plated brass, ensuring a perfect watertight seal and high mechanical strength.
Available Lengths:
As this is a technical product often assembled for precise purposes, the Scubatec range covers the most requested sizes for the technical sector:
- 25 cm - 30 cm - 60 cm - 70 cm - 80 cm - 100 cm - 120 cm and 150 cm
Safety Note: As this is an unconventional hose (lacking the 3/8" male connection for the first stage), its use is reserved for experienced divers or technicians who need to create specific interconnections between distribution blocks or particular second stages.
