Adjustable Harness Buckles

DTD Adjustable Harness Buckles are the ideal hardware solution for divers who want the advantages of a technical harness but don't want to compromise on the comfort and practicality of an adjustable and quick-release system.

Specifically designed for those who want to customize their buoyancy control device, these buckles allow the harness to be opened with a simple gesture. This feature greatly facilitates donning and doffing gear, both on a boat in rough seas and in complex logistical contexts, without having to slip out of rigid shoulder straps.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

• Indestructible Stainless Steel: Made entirely of the highest quality stainless steel. Unlike common plastic buckles on recreational BCDs, this hardware is virtually indestructible, eliminating the risk of accidental breakage under load and drastically increasing the level of safety during a dive.
• Quick Release System: Allows you to break the continuity of the webbing to open the shoulder strap when needed, offering the perfect compromise between the stability of a technical system and the versatility of an adjustable BCD.
• Universal 50mm Compatibility: Specifically developed to accommodate and work flawlessly with the classic 50mm (2-inch) rigid webbing used on all technical BCDs, backplates, and DIR systems.
• Marine Corrosion Resistance: Specific surface treatment to withstand prolonged exposure to salt water and the most aggressive underwater environments.

Main Fields of Use:

• Modification of Continuous Webbing Harnesses: Allows a classic pure DIR harness to be transformed into a Comfort or semi-technical system, facilitating divers with reduced joint mobility or who use very thick drysuits.
• Teaching Configurations and Dive Centers: Excellent for configuring instructional harnesses that need to quickly adapt to different body types while maintaining the robustness of metal hardware.

Target Users:

These DTD adjustable buckles are the perfect accessory for technical and advanced recreational divers who seek maximum operational comfort without compromising on material robustness. They represent the choice for those who demand the maximum structural safety of stainless steel combined with the flexible management of space and lengths of their modular harness.
