The 30° Bent Loop Waist Buckle by Procean is an advanced safety and configuration hardware component, designed for securing the waist strap of a diving harness. Made entirely of marine-grade stainless steel, it combines the classic belt buckle function with an integrated, intelligent side loop.
The unique feature of this model lies in the fixed 30-degree bend of the side loop. This geometric inclination is designed to facilitate quick attachment and detachment of the crotch strap (cooter strap) or other critical accessories, keeping the loop slightly raised from the webbing while maintaining an extremely hydrodynamic, compact, and body-hhugging profile.
Key Features and Technical Specifications:
-
Procean Quality & Stainless Steel: Integral construction in high-strength stainless steel, developed by Procean to withstand the highly corrosive action of saltwater and strong mechanical stresses.
-
30° Bent Side Loop: The integrated loop features an ergonomic 30-degree bend that perfectly orientates the anchor point, allowing for immediate clipping even blindly or with thick dry gloves.
-
Universal 50 mm Compatibility: Standard pass-through loops designed to accommodate and millimeter-precisely lock onto the classic 50 mm (2-inch) webbing used for technical harnesses and DIR systems.
-
Secure Clamping Mechanism: The internal loop design ensures a firm grip on the waist webbing, preventing accidental openings while allowing tension adjustment.
Target Users:
This Procean loop buckle is an essential hardware element for technical, exploration (Cave/Wreck), and advanced recreational divers who follow the DIR philosophy. It is the preferred choice for those who wish to optimize the waist area of their harness, combining maximum closing security with a quick, clean, and low-profile auxiliary attachment point.
