Wide D-ring stopper

The Wide Slot D-Ring Stopper (also known as a triglide buckle or increased slot triglide) is a technical-grade hardware component designed to lock D-rings, weights, or other accessories in position along the harness webbing.

Unlike the narrow slot version, this model features larger holes and slots. This specific geometry significantly facilitates the initial passage and sliding of rigid 50mm webbing during assembly or adjustment, while ensuring impeccable and secure locking once the system is tensioned, in perfect DIR style.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

• Marine Grade Stainless Steel: Made entirely of the highest quality stainless steel to ensure total resistance to rust, saltwater, and maximum mechanical stress.
• Wide Slot (Increased Holes): Wider passage slots reduce initial friction, making webbing insertion, positioning, and adjustment much smoother and faster, even if the webbing is thick or particularly rigid.
• Standard 50mm Width: Universal size for technical diving, designed to perfectly accommodate classic 2-inch (50mm) continuous webbing.
• Chamfered Anti-Wear Edges: Every profile and internal corner of the triglide is carefully smoothed and chamfered to prevent wear or fraying of the harness webbing during configuration maneuvers.

Main Fields of Use:

• D-Ring Positioning: Installed paired with a D-ring (flat or bent) on the shoulder straps or waist strap to lock it at the exact desired point.
• Weight and Accessory Stopper: Excellent for locking rigid weights on the waist webbing or for stably securing the waist buckle, primary light canister, or argon cylinders.

Target Users:

This wide slot D-ring stopper is the ideal component for technical, advanced recreational, and exploration divers who frequently assemble, modify, or adjust their continuous webbing harness (backplate and wing system). It is the preferred choice for those seeking robust, reliable, and more comfortable hardware to configure and move along the webbing during equipment setup.
