Mask strap with 20 mm webbing

Neoprene Strap with Velcro (20mm Width) – Tecline

This variant of the TecLine strap is designed for divers seeking maximum customization in adjustment and a reduced hydrodynamic profile. Unlike models with buckle fasteners, this version uses a hook-and-loop closure system that allows for quick installation and millimeter-precise tension adjustment.

Technical Features

• Material: Soft, high-density neoprene with finished edges to prevent fraying.
• Closure System: Ends equipped with high-strength Velcro (hook & loop), specifically treated not to lose grip in aquatic environments.
• Dimensions: Fixing strap width of 20 mm, a standard size that makes it compatible with most diving mask attachments (both technical and recreational).
• Design: TecLine logo screen-printed on the back, with a wide support surface on the nape of the neck to improve stability.

Strengths

• Continuous Adjustment: The Velcro system allows for precise tightening or loosening of the mask, without the predefined "jumps" of plastic snap buckles.
• Superior Comfort: Completely eliminates rigid pressure points behind the ears or on the temples, typical of bulky buckles.
• Safety: Reduces the risk of plastic parts breaking during transport or diving. The Velcro used by TecLine is designed to withstand continuous cycles of use in saltwater.
• Ideal for Long Hair: The smooth neoprene surface prevents the strap from tangling in hair, making the mask easy to wear even without a hood.

Installation and Compatibility

The strap is designed to be threaded directly through the pins or slots of the mask. Once the 20mm end is passed through, it folds back on itself and secures with Velcro.

Technical Tip:

This model is particularly appreciated by divers who use frameless masks or technical masks where a "clean" configuration is desired, free of mechanical components that could accidentally break.
