The tank bands produced by DTD (Dare To Dive) are high-quality metal tank bands designed for setting up rigging kits for stage and decompression cylinders.
Common Features:
-
Material: Made of marine-grade stainless steel (SS), ensuring total corrosion resistance in saltwater.
-
Integrated Protection: Each band includes a protective cover made of tubular webbing (or heat-shrink tubing/rubber, depending on the specific DTD series) that covers the metal strap. This protection prevents scratches on the cylinder and protects the diver's hands or wetsuit from the sharp edges of the steel.
-
Screw Cover: The screw tightening mechanism is protected by a dedicated sleeve to prevent snagging and accidental injuries.
-
Function: They provide the lower mechanical anchor point for the stage kit's bolt snap, ensuring the line remains in place without slipping.
Band for S40:
- Compatibility: Specifically designed for 5.7 Liter (S40) aluminum cylinders.
- Diameter: Suitable for cylinders with a diameter of approximately 134 mm.
- Usage: Ideal for pure oxygen cylinders or small stage cylinders for short-range dives.
Band for 7Lt:
- Compatibility: Sized for standard 7 Liter cylinders (both steel and aluminum).
- Diameter: Suitable for cylinders with a diameter of approximately 152 mm.
- Usage: The standard for medium decompression cylinders (such as those filled with EAN50), ensuring a solid and durable attachment.
Band for S80:
- Compatibility: Designed for large 11.1 Liter (S80) aluminum cylinders.
- Diameter: Suitable for cylinders with a diameter of approximately 184 mm.
- Usage: Essential for main stage cylinders used as bottom or travel gas, where the robustness of the attachment is critical due to the weight and size of the cylinder.
