The Scubatec F40 Anti-freeze FX3 + SPG DIR Set, available at DIR-STORE, represents the highest level of geometric and thermal optimization for twinset configurations in extreme environmental conditions. This technical package combines the renowned asymmetrical architecture of the F40 first stages – here enhanced with the structural Anti-freeze Kit as standard – with the balanced FX3 second stages. Developed to operate in complete safety in the coldest waters or under ice, the set routes all hoses perfectly parallel to the cylinders. This millimeter-precise routing eliminates hose crossovers, removes tension on the diver's mouth, and completely frees the back of the neck, ensuring immediate and smooth access to the valves during emergency maneuvers (valve drill).

Technical Features:

• Double F40 Anti-freeze First Stage (Balanced Diaphragm and Asymmetric Arctic Geometry): Entirely built in Italy with premium metals and chrome plating, the F40 first stages utilize a balanced diaphragm mechanism that ensures a constant intermediate pressure (9.5 - 10 Bar) at any depth. The presence of the Anti-freeze Kit with a sealed dry chamber completely isolates the springs and internal moving components from the surrounding water, preventing the risk of freezing and accidental free-flow. The asymmetrical port layout (4 LP and 2 HP) is designed for a millimeter-perfect fit on the twinset. Equipped with a solid 300 bar DIN metal handwheel.
• Double FX3 Second Stage (Pneumatic Balance and Smooth Delivery): The FX3 second stages are pneumatically balanced to ensure minimal, soft, and constant inspiratory effort, independent of the residual pressure inside the cylinders. The high-resistance technopolymer casing protects the internal mechanisms and chrome-plated brass valves from violent impacts and abrasions in confined environments (caves/wrecks).
• Dual Precision Adjustment: Both FX3 second stages feature a lever for manual Venturi effect management (Dive/Pre-Dive), essential for inhibiting continuous flow when the regulator is not in the mouth (such as on the backup placed around the neck). They also integrate an oversized external micrometric knob for manually calibrating the initial breathing effort, easily operable even with thick dry gloves.
• Native Nitrox/O2 Compatibility: Assembled as standard with Viton O-rings and lubricated exclusively with high-quality oxygen-compatible grease, the entire kit is fully ready for use with enriched breathing mixtures (EAN/Nitrox).
• Technical Metal SPG 52 mm Pressure Gauge: The kit includes a professional diving pressure gauge with a chrome-plated brass case, tempered glass, and a highly legible luminous dial, supplied complete with a swivel pin.
