Tecline Donut 17 Wing (17kg / 40lbs) – Single Tank Version

The Tecline Donut 17 (in its single-tank version) is a new-generation wing designed to offer significant buoyancy while maintaining a hydrodynamic profile. Thanks to its geometric donut design, it ensures uniform air distribution around the tank, providing the diver with perfect buoyancy control and optimal trim, even with heavy equipment.

Backplate-Free Technology (STA)

This model is part of the innovative generation of backplate-free wings: a rigid adapter is integrated into the back of the wing, partially embracing the tank. This allows the tank bands to pass directly through the webbing that connects the wing and the backplate, eliminating the need for a steel adapter in between.

The practical advantage: This configuration drastically reduces the lateral roll of the tank, offering a feeling of greater stability, compactness, and total control of the equipment during the dive.

Key Features and Materials

• Buoyancy capacity: 17 liters (40 pounds), excellent for those who need generous buoyancy, ideal for deep dives, dry suit use, or heavy equipment.
• Certified compatibility: The wing is officially certified for use with 15 and 20-liter single tanks, covering the needs of divers who use the largest and heaviest single tanks on the market.
• Double-layer structure: Maximum robustness thanks to the internal PU-240 bladder and the external shell made of durable Cordura, highly protective against tears, abrasions, and rubbing.
• Integrated adapter: Rigid rear system for direct tank mounting.
• Included accessories: Supplied complete with control unit (corrugated hose with inflator) and jacket hose.
• Dump management: Equipped with a rear rapid dump valve (overpressure), strategically positioned for easy dumping in a horizontal position.
• Dedicated slots: Integrated slots for tank band routing.
