Bent D-Ring

The Bent D-Ring (curved or angled D-ring) is a fundamental technical-grade hardware component for optimizing diving harnesses. Designed with precise geometric angling, this ring greatly facilitates the attachment and detachment of accessories during dives, especially when operating blindly or in difficult conditions.

Made entirely of thick marine-grade stainless steel, it offers an ultra-solid, secure, and totally inert anchoring point against salt corrosion.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

• Premium Marine Stainless Steel: Constructed from high-quality stainless steel to ensure total resistance to rust, oxidation, and mechanical stress.
• 5 mm Thickness: The increased thickness ensures absolute structural rigidity; the ring will not deform under the weight of stage cylinders, torches, or heavy equipment.
• 50 mm Light Width: Universal standard size for technical diving, designed to perfectly accommodate and house the classic 2-inch (50 mm) harness webbing.
• Bent Design: The geometric curve lifts the rounded part of the ring away from the harness webbing. This angle creates a fixed space that allows the carabiner to engage on the first try, reducing clipping time.

Main Fields of Use:

Harness Shoulder Straps (Chest Area): This is the ideal and standard DIR positioning. The outward bend allows the diver to clip the backup regulator or the primary torch head with one hand without having to search for the ring pressed against the body.

Target Users:

This bent D-Ring is an essential accessory for technical, exploration, and advanced recreational divers who configure a modular system (backplate and continuous webbing harness). It represents the choice for those who demand maximum fluidity of movement and want to facilitate equipment management, especially when using thick dry gloves or operating in environments with reduced visibility.
