Low profile D-Ring

The Low Profile D-Ring is a technical hardware component designed for divers who want to optimize the hydrodynamics of their harness to the maximum, reducing external bulk and minimizing the risk of snagging in confined environments such as caves or wrecks.

Thanks to its slightly reduced thickness of 4 mm and a flattened geometric shape, this ring remains extremely close to the harness webbing, yet still offers a secure and ultra-solid anchoring point in perfect DIR style.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

• Marine Grade Stainless Steel: Made entirely of high-quality stainless steel to ensure total resistance to rust, salinity, and wear over time.
• Optimized 4 mm Thickness: The 4 mm thickness represents the perfect compromise between an ultra-flat profile and the necessary structural strength for attaching diving accessories.
• 50 mm Inner Width: Standard universal size, designed to perfectly accommodate and pass the classic 2-inch (50 mm) continuous harness webbing.
• Low Profile Design: Specifically developed to protrude minimally from the diver's body, keeping clipped equipment in an extremely hydrodynamic and close-fitting position.

Main Areas of Use:

• Technical and DIR Harness Configuration: Used to replace traditional D-Rings in places where thickness needs to be eliminated (e.g., around the waist or on side panels).
• Anchoring Secondary Accessories: Perfect for creating clean attachment points for torch canisters, argon/heating stages, or for securing utility pockets and accessories without creating protrusions.

Target Users:

This low-profile D-Ring is the ideal accessory for technical divers, exploration divers, and those who practice sidemount or diving in confined environments (Cave & Wreck), scenarios where every millimeter of eliminated bulk drastically reduces the probability of snagging on rocks, metal plates, or guide lines.
