Protective front cover available in various colors, designed for aesthetic customization, maintenance, and rapid gas identification.
The Tecline TEC1 Second Stage Cover, available on DIR-STORE, is the original spare part developed to replace or chromatically update the front purge button of the TEC1 regulator. In advanced and technical diving, using covers of different colors is a fundamental procedure to instantly mark the function of each regulator (for example, bright yellow for the emergency octopus or green/white for cylinders dedicated to decompression mixtures), eliminating the risk of errors during gas switching.
Technical Features:
-
Visual Safety Marking: The range of available colors facilitates regulator configuration according to DIR standards, allowing the team to visually and with absolute certainty identify the gas mixture being breathed by their buddy.
-
High-Quality Flexible Polyurethane: Made with a special plastic compound that maintains perfect elasticity even in icy waters. This ensures that the pressure of the purge button remains consistently soft, responsive, and friction-free.
-
Internal Diaphragm Protection: Acts as a true front shield for the second stage, absorbing the energy of accidental impacts against rocks, wrecks, or other equipment during transport, preserving the integrity of the exhaust diaphragm.
-
Original Custom-Fit Interlock: Molded with millimeter-accurate factory tolerances to securely lock under the TEC1's aluminum front ring, making disassembly, cleaning, and inspection operations extremely quick.
