TECLINE corrugated pipe

Tecline Inflator Hoses (30 cm / 41 cm / 50 cm)

Tecline corrugated hoses are flexible, circular-section conduits designed to connect the bladder's elbow valve to the inflator's control unit. Made with high-strength materials, they ensure constant airflow and excellent maneuverability.

Common Features:

• EPDM/Technical Rubber Material: Produced with a high-quality polymer compound, resistant to the corrosive action of salt, ozone, and UV rays. The material maintains its original flexibility even after years of use, preventing stiffening or cracking.
• Close-Spaced Spiral Design: The corrugated structure is designed to allow the hose to bend easily without ever "kinking" or collapsing, ensuring that the airflow for inflation and deflation is always free and immediate.
• Optimized Internal Section: The internal diameter is standardized to minimize the hydrodynamic resistance of the air, facilitating quick BCD deflation during ascent.
• Universal Compatibility: The reinforced ends are compatible with almost all standard inflator heads and elbow fittings (typical internal diameter of 1 inch / ~25 mm).

Length Guide:

Choosing the right length is crucial for maintaining a hydrodynamic profile (streamlining) and preventing the inflator control from being too high or too low:

1. 30 cm (300 mm): The ultimate compact size. Ideal for technical Side Mount configurations, for small/medium stature divers, or for those who prefer a very short inflator that doesn't hang sideways.
2. 41 cm (410 mm): The "universal" standard length. This is the most common size for recreational BCDs and back-mount wings used by average or tall divers, offering a perfect balance between mobility and accessibility.
3. 50 cm (500 mm): Extra-long version. Designed for specific configurations or for very tall divers who need a longer inflator hose to comfortably hold the control at waist height or lower chest.
