Corrugated pipe DTD

The 340mm DTD corrugated hose is the flexible connecting element that links the inflator head to the shoulder dump valve assembly of the BCD (wing/bladder). This specific length is considered the optimal standard for technical configurations, as it allows for clean hose management without creating excessive bulk or dangerous loops.

Key Features:

• Technical Length (340mm): An ideal intermediate size for most medium to tall divers. It is designed to position the inflator control exactly where it's needed, facilitating maneuverability and the search for the dump or inflate button.
• High-Quality EPDM/Rubber Material: Made from a polymer compound resistant to ozone, UV rays, and salt water. Unlike inexpensive corrugated hoses, it maintains its elasticity over time, preventing cracking or stiffening that could cause air leaks.
• Smooth/Optimized Internal Profile: Designed to maximize airflow during rapid dumping, minimizing internal hydrodynamic resistance.
• Close-Pitched Corrugation Design: The corrugated structure allows for excellent flexibility in all directions without collapsing (kinking), ensuring that air passage is always clear, regardless of the diver's position.
• Universal Compatibility: The internal diameter of the ends is standard, making it compatible with almost all inflator units (Power Inflator) and elbow valves on the market (Tecline, Halcyon, Scubapro, etc.).

Operational Advantages:

1. Streamlined Configuration: The 34cm length prevents the corrugated hose from "sticking out" too much laterally, reducing the risk of snagging in confined environments (wrecks or caves).
2. Mechanical Reliability: The robust DTD material ensures superior watertight sealing at the clamping points with hose clamps or plastic/metal retainers.
3. DIR Standard: Meets the requirements for simplicity and functionality demanded by global technical diving agencies.
