Steel counterplate (7x36 cm 670 gr.)

The Tecline Stainless Steel Backplate Pad is a high-quality, flat structural component designed for mounting and stabilizing a single cylinder on modular systems (wing and backplate). Unlike traditional bulky adapters, this plate is positioned inside or on the back of the system to rigidly and securely couple the cylinder bands, ensuring that the cylinder remains perfectly still and aligned with the diver's back without lateral rolling.

Thanks to its flat and essential profile, it is the preferred solution for divers seeking an extremely clean, hydrodynamic, and low-profile single-cylinder configuration.

Key Features and Technical Specifications:

• Flat and Hydrodynamic Profile: Designed to stabilize the single cylinder while minimizing bulk and thickness between the cylinder and the backplate, optimizing the center of gravity's positioning.
• 3mm Stainless Steel Construction: Made of solid 3mm thick stainless steel, laser-cut and finished to resist marine corrosion and heavy loads without any mechanical deformation.
• Standard Dimensions: With its 7 x 36 cm, it perfectly fits the backplate and the slots of cylinder bands of most technical BCs on the market.
• Hardware Kit Included: Supplied complete with all necessary fasteners: stainless steel screws, washers, and "wing nuts" (butterflies) for quick, precise, and tool-free manual assembly.
• Calibrated Weight (670g): Weighing 670 grams (including screws), it also acts as a small fixed weight positioned exactly on the back, helping to improve trim in the water.

Target Usage:

The Tecline Backplate Pad is the ideal accessory for advanced recreational and technical divers who use a back-inflate system (wing and plate) and wish to dive with a single cylinder while maintaining stable, secure trim with minimal bulk. A solid piece, free of perishable parts, designed to last over time.
