The Tecline R4 TEC1 DIR Style Regulator Set, available at DIR-STORE, is a breathing system specifically designed for technical and advanced divers who seek maximum geometric cleanliness combined with uncompromising mechanical robustness. Unlike turret systems, the two R4 first stages feature a fixed monolithic body with pre-angled LP and HP ports: this architecture reduces moving parts and guides the twinset hoses naturally and parallel to the cylinders, minimizing friction and bulk behind the head. Certified according to the rigorous EN250A standard, it provides impeccable delivery even in icy water and confined environments.

Technical Features:

• Dual R4 TEC First Stage (Monolithic and Anti-Freeze Design): Constructed from high-quality chrome-plated marine bronze, the R4 first stages utilize a balanced diaphragm mechanism assisted by a sealed dry chamber and cooling kit. This insulation protects the internal springs and mechanisms from ice and sediment. The fixed radial port arrangement allows for impeccable DIR routing, with hoses running straight down the BCD profile without structural tension. Each first stage offers 4 LP and 2 HP ports.
• Dual TEC1 Second Stage (Simplicity and Reliability): The two pneumatically balanced second stages maintain minimal inspiratory effort at any depth, compensating for cylinder pressure drops in real-time. The classic design ensures extremely simple field maintenance, while the casing is reinforced by a protective aluminum perimeter ring.
• Flow Control and Safety: Both second stages integrate a lever for Venturi effect adjustment (essential to prevent free-flow on the neck backup second stage during a dive or in current) and a micrometric knob for calibrating breathing effort. A metal heat exchanger on the hose prevents ice crystal formation at the point of maximum gas expansion.
