Intake Filter for MCH 6 - Coltri Compressors
The original Coltri Compressors intake filter is an essential component designed exclusively for the MCH 6 (portable) line. This filter represents the compressor's first line of defense, ensuring that air drawn from the environment is free of dust, sand, and other solid impurities before they reach the pumping unit.
Key Features
-
Specific Compatibility: Precisely designed for the intake housing of all MCH 6 series models (Icon, Portable, Compact), in both electric and internal combustion engine versions.
-
Filtering Efficiency: Traps airborne particles, protecting the first-stage cylinders and valves from abrasion and premature wear.
-
Optimized Design: The structure is designed to allow for constant and smooth airflow, preventing inlet pressure drops that could reduce compressor performance.
-
Original COLTRI Quality: Made with durable materials that guarantee maximum structural integrity during work cycles.
Why is maintenance crucial?
As the MCH 6 model is often used in outdoor environments (beaches, boats, construction sites), the intake filter tends to accumulate debris quickly. Regularly replacing it allows you to:
-
Avoid overheating: A clogged filter forces the motor to work harder.
-
Maintain air quality: Fewer impurities entering the system mean a more effective final filter cartridge.
-
Reduce repair costs: Protects internal parts from scratches and debris that could cause mechanical failure.
Note for the user: Periodic inspection of the filter's cleanliness and immediate replacement if it appears visibly dirty or clogged is recommended, as indicated in the Coltri routine maintenance plan.
