Butt plate for Side Mount Avenger

The Tecline Butt Plate for Side Mount Avenger is a rigid bottom extension designed specifically to perfectly integrate with the Side Mount Avenger system. This technical accessory is essential for the correct anchoring of cylinders along the diver's sides, improving load stability and streamlining the configuration.

Key Features and Functionality:

• Rear and Lower Anchor Point: Provides the ideal attachment base for the lower bolt snaps of cylinders (especially when using steel or heavy cylinders), allowing them to be kept perfectly parallel to the diver's body.
• Dedicated Avenger Geometry: Shaped to follow the lines and attachment points of the Avenger harness, ensuring a stable integration that eliminates movement or oscillation of the plate itself during swimming.
• High-Strength Hardware: Equipped with robust marine-grade stainless steel rails or slots, positioned to facilitate the attachment and detachment of bolt snaps even blindly or when wearing thick gloves.

Underwater Benefits:

• Trim Optimization: Helps to correctly distribute the weight and thrust of the cylinders in the lower body area, facilitating the maintenance of a perfect horizontal position.
• Hydrodynamics and Safety: Reduces cylinder protrusions and keeps valves protected and aligned under the armpits. The flat profile prevents the accessory from becoming a snag point in tight or obstructed spaces such as caves and wrecks.
• Accessibility: The position of the attachment points is designed to be easily reachable with hands behind the back for smooth management of stage or primary cylinders.

Target User:

An essential component for divers who use the Tecline Side Mount Avenger system (in standard or Maya versions) in technical or cave diving contexts and desire impeccable and rigorous cylinder management.
