POLARIS Thermoformable Mouthpiece

The POLARIS transparent thermoformable mouthpiece is a highly ergonomic component designed to offer unique personalized comfort on the second stage of a regulator.

Utilizing thermoformable technology, this mouthpiece molds precisely to the shape of the diver's dental arch and palate after a simple immersion in hot water. The result is a custom impression that eliminates jaw tension and fatigue, allowing the regulator to be held in place without having to exert excessive pressure with the teeth.

Key Features:

• Custom-Fit Thermoformable Technology: Adapts perfectly to the anatomy of your mouth through a hot water molding process, which can be repeated several times if needed.
• Transparent Hypoallergenic Silicone: Made from soft, high-resistance medical-grade silicone, completely transparent and free of phthalates or toxic substances.
• Eliminates Jaw Fatigue: The custom fit distributes the holding effort across all teeth, making it ideal for long dives, extended decompression stops, or for those who suffer from temporomandibular joint pain.
• Universal Compatibility: Easily installed on the mouthpiece of any recreational or technical second stage on the market (with the classic clamp fastening).

Molding Procedure (Instructions for Use)

1. Heating: Immerse the mouthpiece in boiling water (approx. 80-90 °C) for 12 - 15 seconds to soften the thermoformable material.
2. Positioning: Remove the mouthpiece from the water (shaking gently to remove excess water) and immediately insert it into your mouth.
3. Molding: Maintain a firm but natural bite for about 20 - 30 seconds, pressing with your tongue and from the outside on your cheeks to make the silicone adhere perfectly to your dental arch.
4. Cooling: Remove the mouthpiece and immerse it in cold water to permanently set the obtained shape.

Maintenance Tip: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each dive. Avoid exposing the mouthpiece to excessive heat sources.
