The Tecline DIR Complete Monoset BCD is a complete modular back system, designed specifically for single-tank diving. Configured according to the strict standards of the DIR (Doing It Right) philosophy, this set offers maximum minimalism, hydrodynamics, and in-water stability, eliminating any superfluous components or potential points of failure.
Thanks to the ability to choose the wing volume and backplate material, it represents the definitive "turnkey" solution for advanced recreational divers and those approaching technical diving.
Components Included in the Set:
1. Tecline Donut Circular Wing (Selectable Volume):
The heart of the system is a continuous annular donut wing, designed to promote symmetrical air distribution and impeccable trim control (horizontal posture). The set includes a control unit with a 40 cm oval corrugated hose (extremely flexible with a high discharge capacity), a visual control, and an LP hose.
Available Volumes: Choice between the 13-liter or 15-liter version.
Colors: Assorted color variants available to customize the set.
2. Backplate (3 mm Backplate):
A rigid profiled plate that ensures absolute stability for the system. During configuration, you can choose the material according to your weight needs:
-
Stainless Steel: Optimizes the center of gravity by acting as intrinsic ballast distributed along the back.
-
Aluminum: Ultralight, ideal for travelers or for configurations that require less dry weight.
3. Standard DIR Harness:
The quintessential purist technical harness system, consisting of a single, continuous, high-strength webbing. This configuration eliminates plastic buckles or quick releases to ensure maximum robustness and a chest completely free of clutter. The kit includes stainless steel D-rings, a crotch strap, and a stainless steel belt buckle.
4. Stainless Steel Back Plate Adapter (STA):
The single tank adapter (STA) in solid stainless steel, essential for rigidly and perfectly centrally coupling the wing and the single tank to the backplate.
5. Tank Straps with Stainless Steel Buckle:
A pair of robust fastening straps with a stainless steel buckle, designed to secure the tank to the back plate adapter in total safety, preventing any slipping during the dive.
Target Users:
The Tecline DIR Complete Monoset BCD is the choice for experienced divers, technical course students, and back system enthusiasts looking for a robust, clean single-tank configuration that complies with global DIR standards. It is the ideal kit for those who demand tank stability comparable to a twinset, combined with a perfectly hydrodynamic trim.
