BCD SET BIBO COMPLETE ADJUSTABLE (Donut 22 SE Black) – Tecline

The Tecline Adjustable Complete Bibo BCD Set represents the modern evolution of the classic technical backplate system. Configured around the high-performance Donut 22 Special Edition wing in black, this set introduces the innovative Adjustable DIR harness. Thanks to an ingenious system with a waist belt adapter, this kit combines the hydrodynamic cleanliness and lack of failure points typical of the DIR style with the flexibility of being able to adjust shoulder strap tension.

Complete with a rigid stainless steel backplate and carrying bag, it is the ideal solution for those seeking technical rigor without sacrificing the practicality of adjustment.

Components Included in the Set:

Back Wing: Tecline Donut 22 Special Edition (SE) – Black:

A continuous donut-shaped wing with a buoyancy capacity of 22 liters (50 lbs) in a sober and professional black color. The special Special Edition geometry is shaped with a narrower profile at the top: this leaves the head free to move, offers ample space for positioning the first stages, and optimizes the linear routing of hoses, ensuring immediate access to twinset valves (valve drill).

Backplate: Standard 3 mm Stainless Steel:

A rigid, ultra-high strength backplate, designed to provide impeccable and stable structural support for significant twinsets (such as the classic 2x12L). The specific weight of the stainless steel acts as intrinsic ballast distributed on the back, optimizing the center of gravity and helping to maintain perfect horizontal trim.

Harness: Adjustable DIR (with waist belt adapter):

The true innovative heart of this set. Unlike the standard DIR harness (which consists of a fixed and rigid webbing), this version uses a special adapter on the waist belt. This mechanism allows the webbing to slide to quickly adjust and tension the shoulder straps, making donning and doffing the twinset extremely easy. It maintains complete cleanliness on the chest (free of plastic buckles or quick releases), respecting the DIR philosophy but offering unparalleled versatility when transitioning from light undersuits to very thick drysuit undersuits. The kit includes D-rings, a stainless steel buckle, and a crotch strap.

Tecline Carrying Bag:

A comfortable and sturdy Tecline branded protective bag is included in the set, perfect for neatly storing equipment, protecting it during travel, and transporting the BCD system in total comfort.

Intended Use:

The Adjustable Complete Bibo Donut 22 SE BCD Set is an excellent choice for technical divers, advanced course students, and experienced recreational divers who wish to configure their twinset with a purist and hydrodynamic approach, but who demand the convenience of being able to precisely adjust the harness to quickly adapt it to different suit thicknesses or to facilitate exiting the water.
