Standard Gas Transfer Hose

Scubatec Standard Gas Transfer Hose

The Scubatec gas transfer hose is an indispensable tool for transferring gas between two cylinders. Designed with high safety standards, it allows pressure equalization or partial refills to be carried out in a controlled and safe manner. This specific version is equipped with DIN 300 bar connections on both ends, ensuring maximum compatibility and safety even with high-pressure cylinders.

Entirely produced in Italy by Scubatec, this hose stands out for its robust materials and the precision of its exhaust valve, which is essential for depressurizing the system at the end of the operation and allowing the disconnection of the fittings.

Main Features:

• Double DIN 300 Bar Terminal: Both connectors are DIN G5/8" 300 bar type, made of ultra-resistant chrome-plated brass. The long thread ensures a secure connection to both 232 and 300 bar cylinder valves.
• Integrated Pressure Gauge: Equipped with a precision pressure gauge with a 0-400 bar scale, housed in an anti-shock rubber protection to withstand stress during transport or use on the dock.
• Exhaust (Purge) Valve: Equipped with a screw-type valve for releasing residual pressure, essential for depressurizing the circuit before disconnecting the cylinders.
• High-Pressure Hose: Reinforced flexible hose, designed to handle high-pressure gas flows in complete safety.

Technical Specifications:

• Maximum operating pressure: 300 bar.
• Connections: DIN 300 bar / DIN 300 bar.
• Materials: Chrome-plated brass and stainless steel/brass fittings.
• Use: Transfer Air, Nitrox or Trimix (subject to oxygen compatibility verification).

Safety Notes: The use of DIN 300/300 fittings ensures maximum mechanical seal. It is recommended to open the cylinder valves slowly to avoid water hammer and overheating during pressure equalization between cylinders.
